1. Eurobuild Orienteering Run 2026
We invite you to take part in a unique sporting event – the 1st Eurobuild Orienteering Run 2026. It is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to combine physical activity with adventure, competition, and navigation in the field.
Who is it for?
Anyone can participate in the event – regardless of experience. We have prepared three starting categories tailored to different levels of advancement:
• amateurs,
• beginners,
• intermediate participants.
What is orienteering?
Orienteering is a sport that combines physical endurance with navigation skills in terrain. Participants move using a map and compass, choosing their own route between control points.
Key rules:
• Objective: complete the course as quickly as possible by reaching control points in the correct order,
• Map and terrain: detailed topographic maps, forest terrain,
• Control points: marked with white and orange flags, confirmed electronically,
• Route choice: each participant selects their own optimal path between points,
• Equipment: each participant receives a map, compass, and an electronic timing chip.
Pre-event training
To ensure everyone feels confident on the course, all participants will be invited to:
• a short online training session – May 22, covering orienteering rules and safety,
• a brief briefing immediately before the start on the day of the event.
The training sessions will be conducted by licensed instructors from the Polish Orienteering Association.
